 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Ike Turner Jr., son of Tina and Ike Turner, dies at 67

Ike Turner Jr., the son of music legends Tina and Ike Turner, has died at the age of 67. According to family members, he passed away Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital from kidney failure. He had faced longstanding heart problems and had recently suffered a stroke in early September, with his health declining over time.

Born in 1958 to Ike Turner Sr. and Lorraine Taylor, Ike Jr. was adopted by Tina Turner early in life and grew up amid his parents’ high-profile music careers. After Tina and Ike Sr. divorced, Ike Jr. briefly worked as her sound engineer. One of four children associated with the Turners’ iconic partnership, he largely stayed out of the public eye in recent years while remaining connected to his parents’ musical legacy. Ike Turner Sr. died in 2007, and Tina Turner passed away in 2023.
