 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings. Ike Turner Jr., son of Tina and Ike Turner, dies at 67

Ike Turner Jr., the son of music legends Tina and Ike Turner, has died at the age of 67. According to family members, he passed away Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital from kidney failure. He had faced longstanding heart problems and had recently suffered a stroke in early September, with his health declining over time.

Born in 1958 to Ike Turner Sr. and Lorraine Taylor, Ike Jr. was adopted by Tina Turner early in life and grew up amid his parents’ high-profile music careers. After Tina and Ike Sr. divorced, Ike Jr. briefly worked as her sound engineer. One of four children associated with the Turners’ iconic partnership, he largely stayed out of the public eye in recent years while remaining connected to his parents’ musical legacy. Ike Turner Sr. died in 2007, and Tina Turner passed away in 2023.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
