 Man who allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times to death in Ogun ‘commits suicide’ A middle-aged man identified as Mr Ayoola Ayanwale, has been found dead in a suspected su!cide hours after he allegedly m#rdered his wife, Ayobami, at the River Valley Estate area of Ogun State. Ayanwale had allegedly stabbed his wife and mother of three to death on Thursday, January 8 in their apartment after what some described as a heated argument between them.  Neighbors in the estate said they heard a loud noise from the compound of the couple and quickly rushed in, only to find her with deep cuts and in a pool of her own blood. They mentioned that they quickly mobilized and rushed her to the hospital.  INEC has advanced eight out of the fourteen new parties seeking registration:


1. All Democratic Alliance (ADA)

2. Citizens Democratic Alliance (CDA)

3. Abundance Social Party (ASP)

4. African Alliance Party (AAP)

5. Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA)

6. Green Future Party (GFP)

7. National Democratic Party (NDP)

8. Peoples Freedom Party (PFP)


The subsequent phase in the registration process involves thoroughly evaluating and verifying the information and documents that each association has submitted. This crucial step ensures compliance with the amended 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Electoral Act of 2022, and the Commission’s 2022 Regulations and Guidelines for Political Parties.
