 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.  Lagos Govt demolishes Ola of Lagos’ car showroom


The Lagos State Government has demolished the car showroom belonging to popular social media influencer and automobile dealer, Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos.

The facility, identified as OOL Autos, was pulled down on Saturday 11 October, 2025, according to multiple reports.

Although the state government has yet to release an official statement explaining the reason behind the demolition, the action is believed to be part of its ongoing enforcement campaign against illegal and unsafe structures across Lagos.

Sources and online speculation suggest that the showroom was allegedly constructed beneath a high-tension power line, an area strictly prohibited for building due to safety and urban planning regulations.

The demolition aligns with the government’s continuous efforts to enforce physical planning laws, restore order, and enhance public safety. Similar exercises have recently been carried out in various parts of the state, including the Trade Fair Complex and sections of Lekki, where buildings without approvals or those obstructing drainages, road setbacks, and rights-of-way were removed.

The Lagos State Government has repeatedly emphasized that such actions are aimed at curbing flooding, protecting lives and property, and maintaining a safer and more sustainable urban environment.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
