 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms.  LVMH considering sale of 50% stake in Rihanna-backed Fenty Beauty, sources say

Luxury conglomerate LVMH is reportedly considering selling its 50% stake in Fenty Beauty, the cosmetics brand co-owned with Grammy-winning singer and entrepreneur Rihanna. The company is said to be working with investment bank Evercore on the potential transaction, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Fenty Beauty, launched by Rihanna in 2017 with the support of LVMH’s beauty incubator Kendo Brands, has become known for its inclusive range of products catering to diverse skin tones. The brand generated roughly $450 million in net sales in 2024 and could be valued between $1 billion and $2 billion, according to sources. Rihanna, who also owns lingerie brand Savage X Fenty, has built Fenty Beauty into a global presence with products sold in stores like Sephora and online platforms such as Amazon.
