 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Mark Sanchez's alleged victim ‘safe’ after stabbing, family confirms

The alleged victim in the Mark Sanchez stabbing incident is reported to be “OK,” according to the man’s family, who gave a brief update on Sunday.

The truck driver, 69, suffered a deep facial laceration in the altercation. His family said they are speaking with lawyers before commenting further, but confirmed his condition. “We are talking to lawyers first. We want to be careful what’s said. We appreciate that,” they said.

Sanchez, a former NFL quarterback and current sports commentator, was hospitalized after being stabbed early Saturday morning near Senate Avenue and West Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis. Later that day, police arrested Sanchez, alleging he was the aggressor despite his injuries.

Sanchez, who had been in Indianapolis to provide commentary for the Colts vs. Raiders game, faces three misdemeanor charges: battery resulting in injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication. Authorities plan to provide an update during a news conference on Monday morning.
