 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said.  Cry and wailings as Ndi Igbo in Ladipo market fall victim to Ponzi scam and 419 scheme.


A company claiming to be affiliated to Swiss Stock Exchange has reported vanished after operating a high-yield investment scheme in Ladipo, Lagos, for just two months. 


The firm promised investors a 50% return in seven days offering that is for every ₦1million you invest you get ₦1.5 million in 7 days.


The company aggressively marketed its offer in Ladipo, targeting traders and business owners. Several individuals reportedly invested large sums, including ₦1.5 million, ₦3 million, ₦5 million, and even ₦60 million.


As of today, the company has allegedly disappeared, leaving investors devastated and demanding answers.


One trader shared, “They’ve been walking around convincing people, but I paid deaf ears. Now people are crying and running mad."
