 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  NERC RELEASES 28 BILLION NAIRA TO DISCOs FOR METERING BAND "A & B" FREE


The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC has approved the release of twenty eight billion naira from the Meter acquisition fund to Electricity Distribution Companies to Meter all outstanding unmetered band 'A' and 'B' customers 


The funds will be allocated in proportion to the respective contributions of the distribution companies under tranche B of the intervention 


In an order released by NERC, all the Meters to be procured and installed under the Meter acquisition fund framework shall be provided free to band 'A'  and 'B' tariff customers 


NERC directs all distribution companies to complete the installation of the Meters under the tranche B of the Meter acquisition fund by 31 December 2025


The intervention under the Meter acquisition fund is part of the commission's deliberate efforts to close the metering gap in the country and it will run concurrently with other interventions including presidential metering initiative

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
