 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Nigeria at 65: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, Felicitates with Nigerians


The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora on the occasion of the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.


In his message, Ambassador Tuggar noted that Nigeria’s 65 years of nationhood reflect the courage, resilience, and unity of its people in overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities for progress. He emphasized that Nigeria has continued to make strides in consolidating democracy, fostering economic growth, and advancing its leadership role within Africa and the international community.


The Minister highlighted that Nigeria’s foreign policy, anchored on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and guided by the 4Ds -Democracy, Development, Demography, and Diaspora remains central to shaping a secure, prosperous, and globally respected nation.


“As we celebrate this milestone,” the Minister stated, “we honour the sacrifices of our founding fathers and reaffirm our commitment to protecting Nigeria’s sovereignty, promoting regional stability, and engaging the world with dignity and purpose. Let us remain united in building a Nigeria that delivers peace, progress, and prosperity for all.”


Ambassador Tuggar called on Nigerians everywhere to uphold the values of patriotism, service, and unity, assuring that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to project Nigeria’s interests and image positively across the globe. He further urged Nigerians in the Diaspora to remain good ambassadors of their country, promoting its image and contributing to national development wherever they reside.
