 Man who allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times to death in Ogun ‘commits suicide’ A middle-aged man identified as Mr Ayoola Ayanwale, has been found dead in a suspected su!cide hours after he allegedly m#rdered his wife, Ayobami, at the River Valley Estate area of Ogun State. Ayanwale had allegedly stabbed his wife and mother of three to death on Thursday, January 8 in their apartment after what some described as a heated argument between them.  Neighbors in the estate said they heard a loud noise from the compound of the couple and quickly rushed in, only to find her with deep cuts and in a pool of her own blood. They mentioned that they quickly mobilized and rushed her to the hospital.  Nigerian Woman Says Leaving Her Loveless Marriage at 24 Was the Best Decision She Ever Made


A Nigerian woman, Chukwudi Mmesoma, has shared how walking away from her loveless marriage at age 24 turned out to be one of the best choices of her life.


In a Facebook post on Thursday, the mother of two said she refused to remain in an unhappy union just for the sake of her children, stressing that doing so would have cost her youthful years.


“It has been seven years now, and I’m extremely grateful to God,” she wrote. “I left while still young and full of life. Waiting for the children to grow up is often an excuse women use to stay in marriages that clearly aren’t working.”


Now 31, Mmesoma said she has rebuilt her life and is proud of her decision. “I was told I’d get tired and run back, but it’s been seven years — and I’ve never looked back,” she added.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
