"NNAMDI KANU APPEARS IN COURT TODAY, TRIAL ADJOURNED TILL MONDAY.."

FRIDAY: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu appeared before the high court today as planned but asked that he be given the grace to return on Monday for his court hearing.

His reason being that his dismissed lawyers are yet to hand his court orders over to him as they were restricted by the DSS personnel yesterday.

He also asked that the court instruct the DSS personnel to allow his witnesses access to him, some who are coming from Europe, some America and Ethiopia.

Awomolo told the court that this request should be granted and Nnamdi Kanu allowed to reappear before the court on Monday, 27th October 2025, but that while at it, Kanu should bear in mind that the court gave him six(6) days in total to open and close his defence.

Justice Omotosho said that out of clear conscience and right to fair hearing, he will grant Kanu the grace till Monday and that he should utilize these few days efficiently.

He also instructed that the DSS allow Kanu access to his lawyers between Saturday and Sunday for optimal preparations.
