OTTI RECEIVES THE 2023 PDP DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE IN ABIA INTO THE LABOUR PARTY, VOWS NOT TO GIVE UP UNTIL HIS MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED FOR THE STATE  Abia State Governor, His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, OFR, says he will not give up or be distracted until he completes his God given mission in Abia State.  One Killed, Another Injured in Senwabarwana Shooting, Police Launch Manhunt


The Police in Senwabarwana, under the Capricorn District, have launched a manhunt for suspects following a shooting incident that resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another at Senwabarwana Park on Thursday, 02 October 2025, at around 21:15.


According to a police report, officers responded to a complaint of murder at the park and, upon arrival, discovered the body of a 24-year-old man lying in a supine position with a gunshot wound to the upper body.


A second victim, aged 22, was later found at a local hospital with gunshot wounds to both the upper and lower body.


The motive for the shooting remains unknown, and the suspects are still at large. Police have urged anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to contact Sergeant Phineas Magwele on 076 236 4689.
