 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. To ease parking challenges, designated car parks have been arranged for public use, these include; the Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club Car Park, Zone 2 Car Park (opposite Island Club along King George V Road), Museum Kit...

 OP-ED: Why The PDP Owes Jonathan Asake An Apology, By Marafan Tsoriang 


For complete restitution, I urge the PDP to write an open letter and apologize to Hon Jonathan Asake, as such, CAN should do same to avoid the devastating effects of nemesis.....a Man who risked his life and that of his entire family, stood with southern Kaduna during her time of adversary, turmoil and grief, he toiled hard to tell our story, the good the bad and the ugly.


He consulted widely, pleaded with elites from southern Kaduna to run the labour ticket, everyone declined, at the dying munite,the leadership of the Middlebelt pasuaded   him to fly that ticket, on that singular note, lies began to fly, blackmails upon blackmails, persecutions and nameshaing became the order of the moment just because someone became assertive.


The boldness that couldn't helped us explore the advantages that is ahead of 2027.....a time we needed to press our demands harder, renegotiate and decides best on a sure bet, rather we deactivated our worth in the name of being carried along, a petty slogan that only believes in soft landing......after all the name calling, lies and blackmail, today ,they are all running back to where they all accused someone of connivance.


Nemesis gives no date, but will always keep a date with everyone that activates her mode, while Karma watches from the sky.


Except for the normal baldheaded arrogance, this apology is unavoidable because the same curse is being added to the existing one in the APC.


Make Una go beg this man oh, aswear down, if not wetin Una go see for that APC no go sweet fa, one of the SA don dey tactically tell Una to follow queue oh.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
