 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. POLICE IN OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND ARE ASKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO SMOKE MARIJUANA IN FRONT OF POLICE OFFICERS.(PHOTO).

 Police in Ocean City, Maryland are asking for volunteers to smoke marijuana in front of police officers.


No, this isn't a joke or police entrapment. Authorities in Ocean City have called out to the public to help training officers. 


The Ocean City P.D. and Montgomery County Sheriff's Department are organizing an event dubbed the "Cannabis Green Lab." 


The project aims to give law enforcement officers a closer look at the effects of marijuana on individuals and how it can affect each individual differently. 


All participants must be 21 years old and supply their own smoke. 


Pro tip: do not tell them where you got your supply if it wasn't from a dispensary.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
