Renewed Hope Initiative Extends Support to Borno State

The Renewed Hope Initiative has launched the "Flow with Confidence" sanitary pad distribution and a food outreach program for vulnerable groups in Borno State.

Combining long-term empowerment and short-term aid, the initiative provides essential items to households. The Flow with Confidence project distributes sanitary pads to schoolgirls and improves sanitation facilities to enhance hygiene and school attendance.

Vice President’s wife and Initiative Vice Chairperson, Nana Kashim Shettima, launched the program, highlighting the Federal Government’s commitment to addressing immediate needs and long-term challenges for women and children.

Shettima noted that the sanitary support scheme promotes menstrual hygiene, reduces absenteeism, and boosts girls’ confidence in pursuing education. She praised the Borno State Government for supporting such programs.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, citing the timely intervention amid economic hardships.

The Initiative continues targeted interventions nationwide to alleviate poverty and empower women and youth for a sustainable future.
