 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. Rudy Youngblood arrested in Texas over alleged assault

Actor Rudy Youngblood, best known for his leading role in Mel Gibson’s 2006 Oscar-nominated film Apocalypto, has been arrested in Belton, Texas, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

Youngblood was taken into custody early Tuesday on a warrant for alleged assault and is being held at Bell County Jail on a $20,000 bond. Authorities have not released full details of the allegations, though reports indicate the arrest involves an incident with a family or household member.

Youngblood gained fame portraying Jaguar Paw in Apocalypto. He was recently cast as the lead in the period drama La Matador, playing Nico Cortez, a tortured painter and romantic interest of the titular female bullfighter. The film is currently in pre-production. In addition to La Matador, Youngblood has five other projects in various stages of production, including Carry You Home, Cooling Effect, Intercept, The Blue Phoenix, and The Moment. His past credits also include The Haunting of Hell Home Mine, Dandelion Season, Attrition, Wind Walkers, and Beatdown.
