 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. Rudy Youngblood arrested in Texas over alleged assault

Actor Rudy Youngblood, best known for his leading role in Mel Gibson’s 2006 Oscar-nominated film Apocalypto, has been arrested in Belton, Texas, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

Youngblood was taken into custody early Tuesday on a warrant for alleged assault and is being held at Bell County Jail on a $20,000 bond. Authorities have not released full details of the allegations, though reports indicate the arrest involves an incident with a family or household member.

Youngblood gained fame portraying Jaguar Paw in Apocalypto. He was recently cast as the lead in the period drama La Matador, playing Nico Cortez, a tortured painter and romantic interest of the titular female bullfighter. The film is currently in pre-production. In addition to La Matador, Youngblood has five other projects in various stages of production, including Carry You Home, Cooling Effect, Intercept, The Blue Phoenix, and The Moment. His past credits also include The Haunting of Hell Home Mine, Dandelion Season, Attrition, Wind Walkers, and Beatdown.
