 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Alexandra Businessman and Community Leader Shot Dead


Tragic news has rocked Alexandra this morning following the fatal shooting of well-known businessman and Alexandra Parliament President, Vincent “Vinny” Ndima, who was gunned down in the early hours of the morning.


According to reports, Ndima was travelling with his friend, Thabo Mahane, when their vehicle came under heavy gunfire at the corner of 13th Avenue and Joe Nhlanhla Street. Eyewitnesses say the pair were ambushed by heavily armed men, with nearly 40 spent cartridges recovered from the scene. Mahane, who sustained serious injuries, reportedly returned fire before the gunmen fled. Ndima was declared dead at the scene, while Mahane remains in critical condition in hospital.


Vinny was widely admired in Alexandra for his community work, known for providing food parcels to the needy, assisting families with funeral costs, and helping renovate homes in partnership with local councillors.


Police have since launched a manhunt for the suspects and are appealing to the public for any information that could help bring the perpetrators to justice.
