 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. S. A: TWO ARRESTED FOR DRUG DEALING AT NKOWA-NKOWA CBD. (PHOTOS).


 Two Arrested for Drug Dealing at Nkowa-Nkowa CBD


Police have arrested two male suspects for possession and dealing in drugs during an intelligence-driven operation conducted at the Nkowa-Nkowa Central Business District (CBD).


A 20-year-old suspect was first spotted at a local taxi rank and searched. He was found in possession of 25 sachets of Crystal Meth and 16 sachets of Nyaope, with an estimated street value of R2,000.


During further investigation, police arrested a 25-year-old man who was also found dealing in drugs. He was searched and found in possession of four sachets of Crystal Meth, leading to his immediate arrest.


Police later proceeded to the 25-year-old suspect’s residence at Nkomaneng Village, where they discovered his room was being used as a drug storage site. Substances including dagga, Nyaope, Crystal Meth, Rock drugs, 60 smoking pipes, and cash with an estimated street value of R4,000 were confiscated.


Both suspects are expected to appear before the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court soon to face charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
