 Kidnappers Freed Us First: Teacher Reveals Dramatic Twist in Oyo Abduction Saga, Contradicting Presidency’s “Rescue” Claim In a startling revelation that challenges the official narrative, one of the teachers held captive for 56 days by kidnappers in Oyo State has claimed that he and fellow hostages were released by their abductors *before* security operatives arrived to escort them to safety. Zacchaeus Olatunde, a teacher among the victims abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area, made the disclosure during a telephone interview with Nigeria Info FM on Friday. According to Olatunde, the captives — who were kept permanently blindfolded and had no idea of their location — were informed of their freedom by the kidnappers’ commander before any government intervention. “Until the last day when their commander came and was smiling and laughing and said we should thank God that we had been freed.  Umahi deserves to call himself a professor of engineering, When I Saw Arise TV Anchor Trying To Be Hard On Umahi I Was Laughing,He Doesn't Know Umahi---- Sen Nwebonyi


Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi has stated that Minister of Works, David Umahi, is a highly capable and result-driven leader. He said he has worked closely with Umahi in different roles, first as his party chairman and later as his commissioner, so he knows him well.


In an interview with TVC, Nwebonyi said he laughed when he saw an Arise TV anchor trying to challenge Umahi over the Coastal Road project during an interview. He said the anchor did not truly know the kind of person Umahi is.


Nwebonyi stated that the quality of Umahi’s work as Minister of Works clearly shows that he is an exceptional engineer. He said Umahi deserves to call himself a professor of engineering because of his experience and performance. The senator said the Lagos-Calabar coastal road being built with concrete is proof of Umahi’s expertise and that the road could last for more than one hundred years. In Nwebonyi's words:


 "He is somebody who has the same spirit with the president, he is a result oriented person. So when I saw one of the anchor person on Arise TV trying to be hard on the man I was laughing because he does not know who is Umahi. This is a man that has proven capacity. If you look at the quality of job he is doing you will see that he is an engineer extraordinary. So even when he called himself a professor of engineer, he is a professor of engineering in equity"

    Umahi is an exceptional man when you come to building of lasting roads and highways. Let us understand more the Arise interactions with our dear commissioner, no one makes himself a professor and our humbled commissioner admitted it and said and I quote I am a professor by practice.
