‘I’ll turn off the mic’ — Remi Tinubu reins in Adeleke’s singing at Ooni’s anniversary First Lady Oluremi Tinubu cautioned Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state governor, for prolonged singing during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary celebration of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. The moment, captured in a now-viral video, occurred as the governor mounted the podium on Sunday to pay tribute to the monarch and to congratulate the Remi on her newly bestowed chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. UPDATE: SEAN 'DIDDY' COMBS SENTENCED TO 4 YEARS IN PRISON. (PHOTO).

Sean 'Diddy' Combs sentenced to 4 years in prison

Diddy has been sentenced to just over four years in federal prison. Judge Arun Subramanian handed down the 50-month sentence on Friday, exceeding the 14 months requested by Diddy’s legal team, but falling far short of the 11 years sought by prosecutors. In addition to prison time, Diddy must pay a $500,000 fine, a portion of which will cover incarceration costs. The judge did not order restitution.

During the sentencing hearing, which lasted several hours, the judge addressed the women who testified about their experiences, saying, “To Ms. Ventura and the other brave survivors that came forward, I want to say first: We heard you.” Prosecutors criticized Diddy for scheduling a speaking engagement in Miami while awaiting sentencing, while the defense highlighted character witnesses and played a video of Diddy with his children. At the hearing’s conclusion, Diddy stood to apologize to his ex, Cassie Ventura. Having already spent more than a year in jail since his September 2024 arrest, Diddy will receive credit for time served.
