 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. WEST BATON ROUGE DEPUTIES ARREST ESCAPED INMATE. (PHOTO).

 An inmate who escaped custody while being transported between facilities was captured by West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office deputies on Monday evening, according to deputies.


Webster Parish authorities were transporting Randall Boyett, 23, from one Department of Public Safety and Corrections facility to another when he escaped on Monday morning, officials said. 


Deputies captured Boyett around 6:45 p.m. near Foster Tire Center in Erwinville after they were tipped off by a resident who saw Boyett hiding in an abandoned building.


"Once he was spotted, he took off on foot," WBRSO Cpl. Landon Groger said. "Mr. Boyett was observed on the railroad tracks and was taken into custody."


Deputies said Boyett was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center for escape and possibly burglary. He had been serving time for a drug-related charge when he escaped.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
