 THREE-MONTHS-OLD INFANT FOUND FOLLOWING ALLEGED CHILD STEALING IN LUSAKA October 12, 2026 – The Zambia Police Service wishes to inform the public that a three-months-old female infant, who was allegedly stolen from her mother in  City Market area of Lusaka, has been found. Brief facts of the matter are that on October 9, 2026, at around 14:00 hours, Beatrice Lengalenga, a resident of Katondo area in Kabwe District and mother of the infant, was allegedly lured to travel to Lusaka by an unidentified female who purported to offer her employment. Upon arrival in City Market area of Lusaka, the mother, accompanied by the infant and the unidentified female, proceeded to a salon, where the mother was offered hairdressing services.  While the mother was having her hair done, the female offered to hold and look after the infant. WEST VIRGINIA PARENTS ARRESTED AFTER THE CHILDREN THEY LEFT HOME ALONE WERE DISCOVERED "FIGHTING EACH OTHER WITH KNIVES".(PHOTO).

 West Virginia parents arrested after the children they left home alone were discovered "fighting each other with knives".


46-year-old Kenneth Conley and 44-year-old Tamara Conley (pictured below) are facing charges of felony gross child neglect of creating a substantial risk of loss of life or serious bodily injury. 


According to the criminal complaint filed against the pair, they are accused of leaving their three children aged 10, 10, and 8, alone in their apartment for over 12 hours on the night of October 1st.


The complaint alleged while the children were left unsupervised they had engaged in a knife fight. They had also attacked each other with chemical spray.


While conducting the welfare check on the children, officers observed drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine residue in plain sight and easily accessible to the children.


Kenneth and Tamara Conley were arrested and booked into Southern Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond each.
