 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. 38 ABDUCTEES IN ERUKU REGAINED FREEDOM. (PHOTO).


 38 abductees in Eruku regained freedom.


The 38 abductees in Eruku,Ekiti local government Area of Kwara State have regained freedom.


In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, the abducted persons regained their freedom after many days of hard work by security forces and government representatives.


Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq through the statement commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR ,who has personally led the efforts by sending in more security personnels.


According to the statement, the abductees were freed today, November 23,2025.


The governor also expresses appreciation to the office of the National Security Adviser,the Department of State Services, the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Intelligence Agency and the Nigeria Police which has graciously deployed for new tactical teams to Kwara State on the directive of the president.
