 TEAM LAGOS EMERGES TOP AT 23RD NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL SOUTH WEST ELIMINATION Lagos State athletes proved their dominance in the South West by edging out regional competitors and emerging top in the five team events contested at the elimination series qualifier for the 23rd National Sports Festival later this year in Enugu. The elimination series featured team events in volleyball, basketball, football, beach volleyball, and cricket in male and female categories. While the team clinched only the female football ticket by topping their group, they showed dominance in three other sports by winning both the male and female tickets. Team Lagos took first position in the volleyball male and female categories. The male team defeated their counterparts from Ondo in the finals by 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, and 25-20, while the female team defeated Team Oyo by 25-18, 22-25, 28-26, 16-25, and 15-8. 50 Cent to release documentary about Diddy in December 


Netflix has announced that a new four-part documentary series about Sean “Diddy” Combs, executive-produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, will premiere on Dec. 2. Titled Sean Combs: The Reckoning, the series is directed by Alexandria Stapleton and explores the complex stories surrounding Combs, his career, and public controversies.

Stapleton said the series goes beyond the individual narratives, describing it as “a mirror reflecting us as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal.” The project also examines the #MeToo era and the challenges faced by women like Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who filed a lawsuit against Combs alleging abuse—a case that was quickly settled but sparked broader legal scrutiny. Jackson, who has teased the “Diddy doc” for over a year, said the project aims to tell these stories with honesty and real-world perspective, highlighting the human side behind celebrity personas. Combs is currently serving a sentence of four years and two months at New Jersey’s Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution on two prostitution-related charges.
