 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. A FORMER WWE WRESTLER WAS FOUND CLINGING TO LIFE ON THE SIDE OF AN ARKANSAS HIGHWAY ONLY 3 DAYS AFTER HIS DIVORCE. NOW HIS EX AND HER NEW MAN ARE BEING CHARGED.(PHOTO).

 A former WWE wrestler was found clinging to life on the side of an Arkansas highway only 3 days after his divorce.  Now his ex and her new man are being charged.


41-year-old Kevin Nikel was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen on July 11th, 2025. Nigel was rushed to a nearby hospital where he sadly passed away. 


Now, months later, Nikel's ex-wife, 40-year-old Amanda Penny and her new boyfriend, 51-year-old Michael Hogue, are being charged in connection with his passing.  


Details on how the crime was perpetrated are scarce at this point. Nikel's mother said she was told there was some kind of altercation, and shots were fired, leaving Kevin Nikel mortally wounded. She said that other than that, detectives have not been clear on exactly who did what during the incident.  However, she believes Amanda encouraged Kevin to meet with the pair, and ultimately, Michael Hogue pulled the trigger on the fatal shot. 


Kevin and Amanda were high school sweethearts who were married in August 2012.


 The two had only finalized their divorce on July 8th, just three days before Kevin would meet his untimely death.


Nikel was known as "Knuckles Madsen" during his time with the WWE before joining the Ozark Mountain Wrestling League under the name "Ivan Warsaw".


Both Amanda Penny and Michael Hogue are being charged with first-degree homicide and additional firearm charges. Both are being held in Benton County, Arkansas Jail.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
