 Lizzy Anjorin breaks silence amid her alleged arrest Controversial Nigerian actress, has broken her silence over her rumoured arrest for defamation of character.  Lizzy was reportedly arrested a few days ago following an alleged petition by some Nollywood stars, Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa. A popular Nigerian influencer and Iyabo Ojo’s associate, Esabod announced the arrest in a post on Instagram. Esabod wrote: “Lizzy Anjorin has been arrested by ??? has been remanded in Alagbon police station in Lagos. Lizzy bail condition will be reviewed from Monday For defamation of character.” Reacting to the viral report, Lizzy in a post on her Instagram page on Sunday evening, wrote “Believe Esabod and Iyabo Ojo at your own risk.”

 Ace Ventura: Pet Detective actor Udo Kier dies at 81

German actor Udo Kier, known for his roles in “My Own Private Idaho” and “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” has died at the age of 81.

Kier’s partner, Delbert McBride, confirmed his passing on Sunday, while longtime friend Michael Childers said Kier died in a hospital in Palm Springs, California. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Born in Germany, Kier enjoyed a prolific Hollywood career spanning nearly six decades, with over 250 film and television credits from 1966 to 2025. His final role was as Hans in “The Secret Agent.” He gained widespread recognition for his role as John Camp in “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” alongside Jim Carrey and for playing Hans in “My Own Private Idaho,” starring River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves.

Kier also appeared in numerous vampire-themed films, including “Blade,” “Modern Vampires,” “Shadow of the Vampire,” and “Dracula 3000.” Other notable roles included Curly in “Barb Wire,” Lorenzini in “The Adventures of Pinocchio,” and a NASA psychologist in “Armageddon.”

Beyond acting in films, Kier made appearances in music videos, including Madonna’s “Erotica” and “Deeper and Deeper,” Korn’s “Make Me Bad,” and Eve and Gwen Stefani’s “Let Me Blow Ya Mind.”
