 FRSC, Anambra Govt Strengthen Partnership on Grassroots Road Safety Awareness By Chisom Okpala The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Anambra State Government have renewed their commitment to strengthening grassroots road safety awareness and reducing road traffic crashes across the state. The commitment was made when the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Anambra, Corps Commander Bridget Asakhauno, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Barr. Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, in his office on Aug. 26. The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore areas of collaboration, particularly in promoting community based road safety initiatives through local government authorities and grassroots communities. Discussions focused on intensifying public enlightenment on safe driving practices, compliance with traffic regulations, responsible road use and pedestrian safety.  Afghanistan pledges cooperation after cross-border attack kills 3 Chinese workers in Tajikistan 

Afghanistan on Friday expressed deep regret and condemned a cross-border attack into Tajikistan that killed three Chinese workers and injured a fourth. Officials described the incident as the work of elements seeking to create chaos and instability in the region. Afghanistan’s foreign ministry said it is committed to full cooperation with Tajikistan, offering information sharing, technical support, and joint assessments to determine the cause of the attack.

Tajik authorities reported that the assault occurred the previous night, carried out from Afghan territory using a drone armed with grenades and firearms. Tajikistan said the attack highlights ongoing security challenges along the border despite efforts to maintain peace and stability. The Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan warned its citizens against traveling to or working in the border region and advised those already there to evacuate promptly. Relations between Afghanistan and Tajikistan have been tense since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan in 2021, though recent developments, including the reopening of border markets and a Tajik delegation visiting Kabul, suggest a gradual improvement in ties.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
