 Anambra LG Commissioner Warns Against Politicising Town Union Offices, Urges Focus on Development ‎By Chisom Okpala ‎ ‎The Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Barr. Vin Ezeaka, has cautioned individuals who perceive the positions of President-General and Town Union Executive as political offices to desist from such notions. He advised that these institutions should remain dedicated to community development and the collective interests of the people. ‎ ‎Barr. Ezeaka made this admonition on Friday, June 5, while receiving the Ugbenu Town Union Executive in his office at the Old Government House, Awka.  After building Psychiatric hospital in Anambra Evang Ebuka Obi reveals plan to open three free-delivery hospitals on Easter 2026


Spiritual leader of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Evangelist Ebuka Obi has revealed that three new hospitals being built by the Seraphic Homes Foundation will be commissioned on Easter Day in 2026 and will offer free delivery services for pregnant women.


Evang. Obi, who is also the founder of the foundation, disclosed this while briefing journalists in his Lagos office on Saturday, where he outlined its ongoing projects.


“There’s a place I’m building three hospitals already,That one will be commissioned by Easter and will be free deliveries. It’s a four-storey building. I’m going to commission it on Easter.”


He said the hospitals are part of plans to expand healthcare access in several states, including Imo, Enugu, Rivers, Delta, Lagos and Anambra.


“These few things I can tell you about our hospital in Anambra, in Imo State, and the more we are about to start with in Enugu, Rivers, Delta, even here in Lagos,” he said.


He added that the foundation provides food, clothing, education and accommodation for orphans and elderly persons, funds tuition for university students and builds houses for families in need.


Obi said the foundation will continue to take mentally challenged persons off the streets, rehabilitate them and reunite them with their families.
