A PRIEST IN ANAMBRA STATE WEDDED A COUPLE YESTERDAY, DESPITE DISPUTES WITH THE BRIDE’S FATHER. (PHOTOS).
This truly tragic case is just one of many in recent months. It highlights the dangers that children are facing every time they are online. Please parents, be aware who your children are interacting with.
Both the Kanawha Sheriff's Department and the FBI are investigating this heartbreaking incident.
According to reports, Kanawha deputies were called to a home on Kelly Road in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, on November 6th.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered 15-year-old Bryce Tate deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
As deputies processed the scene and gathered evidence, it became clear that Bryce had ended his life after falling victim to a predatory sextortion scheme. This young man who attended Nitro High School and had his whole life in front of him, had collapsed under the pressure and chosen a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
However, it should be noted that the sick individuals who pull these types of schemes are ruthless and unrelenting with the pressure they exert.
A look into Bryce's digital footprint on his final day shows that he was contacted by the suspect around 4:30 p.m. on the day of his death. The conversation had continued right up to the time of Bryce ending his life at around 7 p.m.
Although there is no clear suspect yet, the FBI has taken over due to the interstate nature of the case.
I pray this family gets justice for their son. They say they are prepared to take a stand so no other families have to suffer through such an unimaginable loss.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Bryce Tate.
Rest in peace, Bryce.
