 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. Rt Hon Dr Chukwuma Pius Okoye, Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has expressed strong appreciation and support following today’s plenary session, where His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, presented the 2026 Appropriation Bill themed Changing Gear 3.0, Solution Continues.


In his address, the Deputy Speaker described the budget presentation as a clear demonstration of renewed commitment to progress, accountability, and purposeful development for Anambra State. He commended Governor Soludo for consistently placing the welfare of Ndi Anambra at the forefront of his leadership, noting that the Governor’s achievements across the state continue to speak for themselves and strengthen public confidence.


Rt Hon Okoye remarked that the vision embedded in the 2026 budget offers hope for deeper transformation in the coming year. He highlighted that under the Governor’s guidance, Anambra is advancing steadily with clear direction, measurable results, and policies driven by dedication, innovation, and sincerity.


According to him, the 2026 budget signals stronger momentum for the Solution agenda and reinforces the state’s path toward sustained growth and renewed optimism.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
