 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  DIRECTOR-GENERAL'S MESSAGE TO THE 2024 BATCH 'C' STREAM ONE PASSING-OUT CORPS MEMBERS


My dear 2024 Batch 'C' Stream One Corps Members, I, on behalf of the management, staff and your serving colleagues nationwide heartily felicitate with you on the successful completion of the National Service.


Today, I join the rest of the nation in commending your selfless service as seen in your contributions to the progress and development of your host communities . Indeed, we are proud of the impacts you made through deployment of your intellectual prowess and physical energies in initiating and executing numerous life-touching projects that have improved the standard of living of people across the length and breadth of our beloved country. The passion with which you undertook projects targeted at rural development, free healthcare delivery, improvement in education as well as your participation in the conduct of elections and other national assignments will continue to inspire other young men and women of our great country.


As you go into the next phase of life, l enjoin you to sustain the spirit of patriotism and brotherhood that had been your guiding principles during the service year. Do not relent in preaching the gospel of peace, national unity and integration, which are part of the core mandate of the NYSC.


May I also implore you to continue to demonstrate our core values of integrity, efficiency, transparency, commitment, team work and discipline. By so doing, you will remain true ambassadors of this noble Scheme.


Let the various trainings you received during the service year, especially in the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, propel you to enviable heights. At all times, you must remain focused, diligent and pursue your goals with passion. Do well to start up business ventures, no matter how small, and work to grow them into empires that will make you not just self-employed, but creators of wealth for a more prosperous Nigeria.


While wishing you journey mercies back to your parents, siblings and other loved ones, I wish you success in all your future endeavors.
