 Anambra HOS Visits Ministry of Women Affairs Again, Warns On Absenteeism, Insurbordination By Stella Anekwe The Anambra State Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno Esq.,mni, on April 29, visited the Ministry of Women Affairs , 29 days after her first visit, warning workers of absenteeism and insurbordination. She frowned at the lack of respect and insubordination witnessed among the staff against the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, warning that if such is reported again, she would post out all the staff. She reminded the workers at the ministry of Women Affairs that the ministry is the gateway of the grassroots to the civil service hence, the workers should be puntual and service oriented always. She said that with the 216 lawyers in the Ministry of Justice that the civil service has enough lawyers for litigation against those flagrantly disobeying the civil service rules and code of service. GOV. ALEX OTTI, SAYS THAT HIS ADMINISTRATION IS MAKING RENEWED EFFORTS TO IDENTIFY MINOR OFFENDERS IN CORRECTIONAL CENTRES ACROSS THE STATE FOR POSSIBLE PARDON AS PART OF YULETIDE INTERVENTIONS.(PHOTO).

 Governor Alex Otti, says that his administration is making renewed efforts to identify minor offenders in correctional centres across the state for possible pardon as part of yuletide interventions.


He said that he recently met with the Zonal Commandant of the Nigerian Correctional Service and reviewed ongoing support for facilities in the state.


“Even though it is a federal agency, our people are the ones affected. So, we decided to protect the entire place by erecting perimeter fences, and we are building a one-storey holding centre to decongest the cells. The idea is not to keep more people there, but to ensure that those who enter the centre do not come out as hardened criminals”, he explained.


“In the last two years, I made attempts to grant pardon to minor offenders using the prerogative of mercy, but we couldn’t find any. All the 1,900-plus inmates had serious offences. I have asked the Zonal Commandant to look into it again to see if there are people who can be considered as we mark the end of the year”, he added.


The governor also appealed to residents to remain security-conscious throughout the festive period.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
