 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail.  GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI SETS  TO PRESENT 2026 BUDGET TO ABIA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY


The Abia State Government wishes to inform the general public, stakeholders, development partners, and the media that His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, will formally present the 2026 Budget Proposal to the Abia State House of Assembly today, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00pm.


This year’s budget presentation comes at a defining moment in our state’s development journey. With the ongoing massive infrastructural transformation across all sectors: roads, healthcare, education, urban renewal, and digital governance, Abians can look forward to a forward-looking and strategic budget designed to consolidate the gains of the past 30 months.


The 2026 Budget is expected to reflect the administration’s unwavering commitment to rebuilding Abia, strengthening the economic base of the state, and accelerating capital projects that will deliver sustainable growth and improved quality of life for all citizens.


Abians are therefore encouraged to follow the proceedings through accredited media channels as we collectively witness yet another milestone in the New Abia agenda under Governor Otti’s visionary leadership.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
