  North Korea slams FBI over allegations of being behind Binance hack North Korea has rejected FBI allegations linking it to a reported $6 billion theft from cryptocurrency exchange Binance, with Kim Yo Jong describing the accusation as a "grave political provocation". In a statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency on Tuesday, November 3, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un dismissed the allegation as "absurd rhetoric and nothing new". She referred to previous US accusations connecting North Korea to the major attack on cryptocurrency platform Bybit last year. "It is a grave political provocation against the DPRK that the US misleads the international public opinion as if all the cyber crimes in different parts of the world are our deeds," she said, using the abbreviation for North Korea's official name.  House Urges Suspension of WAEC Computer Based Examination

‎The House of Representatives has passed a resolution urging the Federal Ministry of Education and the West African Examination Council to suspend the commencement of its computer based examination in 2026, citing inadequate facilities and preparation. 


‎Adopting a motion of urgent national importance by Representative Kelechi Nwogu, the House notes that the technical glitches that led to shutting down of WAEC's 2025 result portal are indications that time is not ripe for commencement of the Computer based examination policy. 


‎Lawmakers also condemned poor sanitary conditions in some parts of the nation's capital, while also highlighting security threats posed by non-functional streetlights in Abuja and environs.

‎An ad-hoc committee was constituted to look into waste management as well as dysfunctional streetlights in the nation's capital and make recommendations for legislative and executive action.
