 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings.  Jessica Simpson marks eight years sober

Singer, actress, and reality TV star Jessica Simpson is marking eight years of sobriety this weekend.

On Instagram Saturday, Simpson, 45, reflected on the milestone, writing that eight years ago she made the decision to confront and let go of the self-sabotaging habits in her life. She said choosing sobriety allowed her to fully embrace what she describes as God’s purpose for her life, noting that alcohol had previously clouded her intuition and blocked her dreams.

“Both fear and faith are something that we feel and may not see,” Simpson wrote. “I’m so happy I chose faith over fear. It was not in the fight that I found my strength, it was in the surrender.” She is also the author of the 2020 memoir Open Book.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
