 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are exploring areas of collaboration that will attract investment in clean energy as the world adopts energy transition master plan to reduce emission.


Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi engages Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy and Climate change, Abdulaziz bin Salman on the sideline of COP30 in Brazil where both Countries discuss how to accelerate implementation of clean energy while harnessing natural resources for sustainable growth that is focused on energy development for the benefit of its people while protecting the planet 


At a separate engagement, the DG of the Energy Commission of Nigeria delivers a keynote address on the commitment of the federal government towards achieving smarter, energy efficient cooling transition that is aligned with global climate goals


The engagement explores practical solutions to expand access to cooling while minimising environmental impact.


The discussion focuses on the role of minimum energy performance standards and modern cooling technologies in reducing emissions across emerging economies. The DG of Energy Commission of Nigeria presents Nigeria's readiness to harmonise standards.
