 Anambra HOS Visits Ministry of Women Affairs Again, Warns On Absenteeism, Insurbordination By Stella Anekwe The Anambra State Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno Esq.,mni, on April 29, visited the Ministry of Women Affairs , 29 days after her first visit, warning workers of absenteeism and insurbordination. She frowned at the lack of respect and insubordination witnessed among the staff against the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, warning that if such is reported again, she would post out all the staff. She reminded the workers at the ministry of Women Affairs that the ministry is the gateway of the grassroots to the civil service hence, the workers should be puntual and service oriented always. She said that with the 216 lawyers in the Ministry of Justice that the civil service has enough lawyers for litigation against those flagrantly disobeying the civil service rules and code of service.  Popular Veteran Nollywood Actor, Baba Gebu Is Dead


Veteran Nigerian actor,  Baba Gebu whose real name is Prince Oyewole Olowomojuore, has reportedly passed away.

The renowned Nollywood actor and movie producer Kunle Afod announced the sad news via his verified Instagram on Tuesday, 12th November.

According to the 54 -year-old actor, the veteran died after a brief illness. In his words: “It saddens my heart as I announce the passing away of our great legend, a great actor who passed away this evening after a brief illness… BABA GEBU may your soul rest in peace.”

Baba Gebu, before death had a long career in the Nigerian film industry, particularly in Yoruba-language cinema, and had contributed to major productions.

In 2024, the late actor narrated about the death of his wife and opened up on his decision to come back to active acting to avoid depression

Fellow actors and industry figures, such as Afod, got involved in assisting him after sharing  his desire to work in the movie industry.
