 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. PRIME SUSPECT IN THE FRSC OFFICER AND DAUGHTER'S MURDER HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN GHANA


The herbalist whom earlier was being tracked as the prime suspect in the murder of SRC Lasisi and her daughter Sewa, was apprehended by the police.

However, he made some confessions during interrogation which revealed the actual prime suspect of the crime, one Mr Victor Benjamin Fajemirokun who was a friend of the deceased FRSC officer.


According to the herbalist, Victor brought Lasisi and Sewa to the herbalist's house in Osun State and proceeded to k!ll them for r!tual purposes with the help of his friends.


The police following this revelation, declared Mr. Victor wanted immediately.


Current report now has it that Mr. Victor who fled Nigeria to Ghana, has been arrested by the Ghanaian police after they tracked him using a viral video detailing his alleged cr!mes.

 

Victor remains in Ghanaian custody as arrangements are underway to hand him over to the Nigerian authorities.
