 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. PRIME SUSPECT IN THE FRSC OFFICER AND DAUGHTER'S MURDER HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN GHANA


The herbalist whom earlier was being tracked as the prime suspect in the murder of SRC Lasisi and her daughter Sewa, was apprehended by the police.

However, he made some confessions during interrogation which revealed the actual prime suspect of the crime, one Mr Victor Benjamin Fajemirokun who was a friend of the deceased FRSC officer.


According to the herbalist, Victor brought Lasisi and Sewa to the herbalist's house in Osun State and proceeded to k!ll them for r!tual purposes with the help of his friends.


The police following this revelation, declared Mr. Victor wanted immediately.


Current report now has it that Mr. Victor who fled Nigeria to Ghana, has been arrested by the Ghanaian police after they tracked him using a viral video detailing his alleged cr!mes.

 

Victor remains in Ghanaian custody as arrangements are underway to hand him over to the Nigerian authorities.
