 Kidnappers Freed Us First: Teacher Reveals Dramatic Twist in Oyo Abduction Saga, Contradicting Presidency’s “Rescue” Claim In a startling revelation that challenges the official narrative, one of the teachers held captive for 56 days by kidnappers in Oyo State has claimed that he and fellow hostages were released by their abductors *before* security operatives arrived to escort them to safety. Zacchaeus Olatunde, a teacher among the victims abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area, made the disclosure during a telephone interview with Nigeria Info FM on Friday. According to Olatunde, the captives — who were kept permanently blindfolded and had no idea of their location — were informed of their freedom by the kidnappers’ commander before any government intervention. “Until the last day when their commander came and was smiling and laughing and said we should thank God that we had been freed. SEARCH FOR THE TWO PALMWIME TAPPERS KIDNAPPED IN EMUHU, NEIGHBOURING AGBOR COMMUNITY, DELTA STATE, HAS COME TO AN END TODAY AS ONE OF THEM WAS RESCUED, WHILE ONE WAS ALREADY KILLED BY THE KIDNAPPERS.(PHOTO)


 Search for the two palmwime tappers kidnapped in Emuhu, neighbouring Agbor community, Delta state, has come to an end today as one of them was rescued, while one was already killed by the kidnappers.


According to the rescued man, the kidnappers killed his colleague after his family tried negotiating his ransom with the only N10, 000 they had.


Reports by human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu who broke the news are as follows;

"Yesterday,  I led Security Agencies in search of two Palm wine tappers kidnapped in their farm at Emuhu, near Agbor, Delta State. 


"Security agencies responded swiftly. The Military from the 63 Brigade, the Emuhu Vigilante Group, Anti-Cult Abavo, Operation Soup, and teams of Police officers all joined us in the search and rescue mission.


"From Emuhu, to Abavo, to Obi-Ayama, to Urhonigbe. We were able to locate one of the victims at Urhonigbe, Edo State. 


"He narrated the h€artbreaking incident on how his colleague was k!lled after the man’s family attempted to negotiate with the kidnappers using the only money they had, N10,000.


"This is the painful reality our people are facing.”
