 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.  SECURITY IN ANAMBRA: POLICE ARRESTS ARMED SUSPECTED SECESSIONIST MEMBER IN IHIALA


As CP Orutugu Orders Heightened Security Surveillance and Raid Operations Across the State


The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a suspected member of a proscribed Secessionists Group following an early morning intelligence-led operation on 20th November 2025, as Police operatives attached to Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu apprehended one Friday Nnamdi Anyikame, male, 25 years, in Ihiala and recovered 2 (two) pump-action firearms and 29 (twenty-nine) live cartridges.


During interrogation, the suspect confessed to being an active member of an armed group and revealed that he operates from a criminal camp located in Ogbaru LGA.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc mnips Phd, while commending the operatives for their swift and coordinated response, has ordered an immediate intensification of security surveillance and targeted raid operations across the State. He further assured residents that the Command is already closing in on other fleeing members of the gang and is determined to dismantle their criminal network in Anambra.


The CP urges Ndi Anambra to remain vigilant and continue to support the Police with timely and actionable information that will aid ongoing security operations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
