 The Traditional Ruler of Azumini Ndoki Ancient Kingdom in Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, HRM Eze Edward Eule (Onyenweali X), has dismissed claims by some of his subjects that he abandoned his throne following his temporary absence from the community. This is as six suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the stealing of the community’s electricity transformer, thus plunging the community into darkness. The monarch, who is currently in the U.S, explained that his trip was to attend to personal and professional matters, adding that he will soon return to Nigeria. "I travelled to the United States of America in May 2025 to attend to some professional and personal matters. I am robustly healthy and fine, and I may soon conclude the task of my sojourn here", he said. Prof. Eule accused individuals he described as "mischief-makers operating under the guise of an Interim Ruling Council" of peddling falsehoods and propaganda about his alleged abdication. ...

Sherri Shepherd receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 

Actress, comedian, and talk show host Sherri Shepherd was celebrated Monday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.

Shepherd, known for her time on The View and as the host of her own show SHERRI, received the 2,827th star along the iconic boulevard. Attending the ceremony were Tyler Perry, Niecy Nash, and Shepherd’s 20-year-old son, Jeffrey Tarpley, Jr.

Beyond her work in talk shows, Shepherd has appeared on TV series including 30 Rock, Friends, and The Jamie Foxx Show, and in films such as Precious, Think Like A Man, and Ride Along 2.

“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome actress Sherri Shepherd to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer. “Sherri is a beloved figure whose humor, authenticity, and resilience have brightened the lives of millions.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
