No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

Singer D4vd identified as suspect in death of 15-year-old found in car trunk, LAPD source says

Singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, has been named a suspect in the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was discovered in a vehicle he owned, according to a Los Angeles Police Department source familiar with the investigation. Burke has not been charged with any crime at this time.

Authorities believe the teen likely died in the spring, and the source indicated Burke may have had assistance in dismembering and disposing of the body. Hernandez’s remains were found on Sept. 8 in the trunk of a Tesla at a Los Angeles impound lot. The car had been towed after being parked for several weeks, suggesting she may have been deceased for some time before discovery. Hernandez had been reported missing from Lake Elsinore, California, last year, with her last confirmed sighting on April 5, 2024. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Department has deferred the determination of her cause and manner of death pending further investigation.

Police have said it remains unclear whether any criminal responsibility beyond the concealment of her body is involved. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating all aspects of the case to bring clarity and justice for Hernandez and her family. Burke’s legal representatives have not commented, and he canceled the remainder of his U.S. tour in September amid the ongoing investigation.
