 Somali World Cup Referee Denied Entry to United States Award-winning Somali referee, Omar Artan, has been denied entry into the United States despite holding a valid visa, according to a senior official in Somalia’s sports ministry. Artan, who is set to become the first Somali referee to officiate at the FIFA World Cup finals, was stopped at Miami International Airport and subsequently returned to Istanbul, where he had been residing. The reason for the denial was not immediately disclosed. However, Somalia is among the countries affected by a travel ban introduced by the administration of Donald Trump.  Singer Ray J arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats, LAPD says

Singer and actor Ray J, whose real name is Willie Ray Norwood Jr., was arrested on Thanksgiving on suspicion of making criminal threats, according to Los Angeles police.

Officers responded to a call early Thursday at 3:55 a.m., reporting assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. Norwood, 44, was taken into custody and later released on $50,000 bond. Multiple firearms were recovered at the scene, and no injuries were reported.

The incident reportedly involved a confrontation with actor Princess Love, with whom Norwood shares two children. During the exchange, he allegedly threatened to shoot someone, though he denied pointing a gun directly at Love. Representatives for both Norwood and Love have not provided comments.
