 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  ‎ Speaker Abbas Leads House Delegation To 8th China International Import Expo

‎Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen is leading a high-level delegation of the House to the 8th China International Import Expo. 

‎

‎A statement signed by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Speaker Musa Krishi indicates that the visit followed an invitation extended to the Speaker by the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria to deliver a 5-minute goodwill message at the Expo. 

‎

‎Thereafter, the Speaker will hold a bilateral meeting with the Premier of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Li Qiang, where he will highlight key areas of collaboration between Nigeria and China, including parliamentary cooperation. 

‎

‎Speaker Abbas will also participate in the Africa-China Economic and Cultural Forum.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
