We received reports from several contestants inside that the incident reportedly began when Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) was seen criticizing Mr. Raul. During the exchange, she allegedly questioned Miss Mexico about why she declined a sponsor photo shoot organized by Miss Universe, yet agreed to participate only in those handled by Telemundo.

Miss Mexico then found the courage to speak up, which quickly turned into a heated exchange. She was reportedly told to either stay quiet or leave, and she chose to walk out of the room in tears — a moment witnessed by Miss Iraq. Shortly after, Miss Universe 2024 winner, Victoria, also voiced her disapproval, saying she would not return, before walking out as well.

Most of the girls who probably do not know what to do, also left but there were girls who stayed such as France, Thailand, South Africa, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Belgium, even Venezuela stayed.  Most girls who left are from the Latin countries such as Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Bolovia, Nicaragua, Colombia, Latina, and others. Bangladesh, Cuba, Guadaloupe, Cote d’Ivoire, and other African countries like D.R. Congo also left.

Amongst the Latinas, Dominican Republic was late so when she went down, she was clueless what happened.

Venezuela, left long after.

Allegedly, Mr Nawat was also angry as he found out many girls have their glam and make up team. And it is not allowed.

They also enlisted who are the girls who stayed and those who left the room.

Mr Nawat went outside a while ago and waited for the other girls. Some girls indeed went back like Namibia, Vietnam, and India.

Most girls went back

Now there are allegedly in talks that the competition is going to be in December, or will be canceled.

UPDATE:

Update on the Miss Universe Tensions

New information from insiders reveals that when Miss Mexico was being scolded, María José from the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) reportedly felt that the situation was becoming disrespectful and instructed the girls to leave the room.

Some contestants chose to stay, explaining that they did not want to take sides.

According to reports, María José clarified that if there had been a misunderstanding, it should have been addressed privately with Miss Mexico rather than in front of everyone.

At one point, several contestants were seen in tears as emotions ran high. The producers of Miss Universe Thailand later coordinated with the Miss Universe Organization, and the issue was said to have been calmly resolved.
