 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. THE FBI IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $5 MILLION (R85 MILLION) FOR INFORMATION THAT COULD LEAD THEM TO A WOMAN BELIEVED TO BE HIDING IN CAPE TOWN. (PHOTO).

 The FBI is offering a reward of $5 million (R85 million) for information that could lead them to a woman believed to be hiding in Cape Town. 

Her name is Ruja Ignatova, and she is accused of allegedly scamming investors out of billions through her cryptocurrency scheme known as OneCoin. She vanished before authorities could arrest her, and investigators say she has been on the run ever since.
