During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot.  The Time musician Jellybean Johnson dies at 69

Garry “Jellybean” Johnson, best known as the drummer and founding member of Prince’s band The Time, has died at the age of 69. His family confirmed he passed away suddenly on Friday night; the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Johnson, a key figure in the Minneapolis Sound—a blend of funk, rock, and soul that emerged in the 1970s and 80s—also played with the Prince-formed group The Family. He appeared as a fictionalized version of himself in the 1984 film Purple Rain and co-produced Janet Jackson’s 1990 No. 1 hit single “Black Cat.” Fellow musician Susannah Melvoin, who worked closely with him, remembered him as a prolific guitarist, saying that playing music was like breathing for him.

Beyond his performance career, Johnson was passionate about preserving musical history. Alongside his long-term partner Marty Bragg and her daughter, he co-founded the Minneapolis Sound Museum, dedicated to celebrating and preserving the legacy of the Minneapolis Sound.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
