 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI HOLDS 25TH COMBINED CONVOCATION. (PHOTOS).

 University of Maiduguri holds 25th combined convocation


University of Maiduguri has held its 25th combined convocation ceremony, awarding degrees and diplomas to 20,164  graduates, including 66 PhDs and 205 First Class honours graduates..

 The ceremony had in attendance the president  Bola Ahmed Tinubu represented by the Minister of state for Education, professor  Suwaiba Ahmad .

The graduating categories  comprise 66 PhDs, 1,020 Master’s degree holders, 3,851 postgraduate diplomas, 13,624 bachelor’s degree graduates, and 1,603 diploma recipients.

Among the bachelor’s degree graduates, 205 earned First Class honors, 3,114 obtained Second Class Upper Division and 9,501 finished with Second Class Lower Division.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
