 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  14-YEAR-OLD KIDNAP VICTIM RESCUED IN BENUE



In a dramatic rescue operation, personnel of the Benue State Civil Protection Guards freed a 14-year-old boy from suspected kidnappers during a routine patrol on the Oweto-Otukpo road in Agatu Local Government Area (LGA) on Friday, November 29, 2025.  


Around 7:45 p.m., the security team intercepted a suspicious vehicle. On sighting the patrol, the abductors abandoned the boy at Egla, Agatu LGA, and fled into the night.  


The victim, identified as Daniel, son of Michael and Rebecca, was immediately taken to the Civil Protection Guards’ office in Obagaji, Agatu LGA, where he received medical care. Authorities confirmed that he is now in stable condition.  


During questioning the following morning, Daniel revealed key details about himself:  


- Full Name: Daniel  

- Age: 14  

- School: Contract Secondary School, Mararaba, Nasarawa State  

- Class: JSS 2  

- Residence: Mararaba Sharp Corner, Nasarawa State  

- Tribe: Idoma  


The boy explained that he does not know his parents’ phone numbers. He has since been handed over to the Nigerian Police at Obagaji for further investigation and efforts to reunite him with his family.  


Authorities are appealing to residents of Nasarawa and Benue States to circulate this information widely so that Daniel’s parents or guardians can be located quickly.
