 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless.  Actress Iyabo Ojo has once again shut the single mothers' haters up as she prepares to celebrate her 48th year on earth in grand style, her first birthday as a grandmother. 


According to her, many single mothers are excelling in their careers, families, and personal lives, earning respect for the discipline and values they instill in their children.


Although the actual birthday is tomorrow December 21st, pre-birthday celebrations are already ongoing in advance.


Speaking at her pre-birthday party, the Nigerian actress bragged;

"Gone are the days when being a single mother was a stigma, single mothers’ children are doing great things in life.


"Men are chasing single mothers. They are even begging us that they don’t want us to be side chicks. They want us to marry them because we have experience.


"If a man leaves you, another man will accept you.

I am the President General of Single Mothers Association".


She noted that the dedication shown in raising a child single-handedly now deserves accolades and admiration, rather than criticism.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
