 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Anambra State Government Approves 8-man Committee For Conduct Of Abba Town Union Election Scheduled For 28th December 2025


Anambra State Government, through the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, has approved the establishment of an 8-man committee for the conduct of Abba Town Union Election on 28th December 2025.


Members of the committee that has commenced work immediately after they were inaugurated on 22nd December were the Chairman, Mr. Malachy Okafor; representing Ire village, Secretary, Emmanuel Okafor; representing Amabor village, member, Obiora Nweke; representing Okpuloji village, member, Joseph Egbeocha; representing Ezi-Abba village, and all the four chairmen of the villages in the community.


A statement signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, noted the failure of the Executive committee of Abba Town Union led by the President General, Mr. Alexander Ekwuagana to submit the list of the electoral committee and election guidelines for the exercise on or before 2nd December as directed in the ministry’s letter dated 24th November 2025.


While charging the electoral committee to prepare necessary ground for the conduct of a peaceful credible and successful exercise, the statement directed the Abba community to be guided accordingly and comply with government directive.
